Does Web It Fast take a cut of my orders?

No. Order payments go through Square Web Payments SDK at standard Square rates (2.6% + 10¢). The platform fee is configurable per platform; on our default, it's 0%.

Will the menu sync with my Square POS?

Yes — bidirectional sync. Every product create / edit / delete in Square POS pushes to your site, and changes you make in the dashboard push to Square. Tax and inventory stay consistent.

What about catering and private events?

Built in. Food family templates include a /catering/ sub-page with a customizable catering inquiry form (headcount, event date, dietary notes, custom questions). Submissions land in your dashboard with a unique reference number.

Can customers book a reservation through the site?

Today, the recommended pattern is to surface your phone number and OpenTable / Resy link prominently. Native reservations are on the roadmap; we're prioritizing the order-pipe ownership angle first because it returns margin immediately.

How long does Square OAuth setup take?

About 45 seconds. Click "Connect Square," sign in, authorize, your catalog imports automatically. We auto-refresh the access token daily so the connection stays live.

Can I add a daily special or 86 a dish quickly?

Yes. Toggle items active/inactive from the dashboard or edit them in Square POS — both sides sync. Menu changes propagate within a minute.

Will this hurt my DoorDash listing?

No — they're independent. Most of our restaurant tenants run both channels for the first year, then quietly let direct-order grow into the majority of takeout volume.

What about gift cards?

Square gift cards work out of the box once Square is connected. Gift card sales appear in the shop section the same way regular products do.

Can I manage everything from my phone?

Yes. The dashboard is mobile-first; menu items, hours, daily specials and catering inquiries are all manageable from a phone over coffee.
